Project PR

What is PR?

The Canadian Public Relations Society defines PR as "the strategic management of relationships between an organization and its diverse publics, through the use of communication, to achieve mutual understanding, realize organizational goals and serve the public interest."

Our focus for Project PR is a top-down approach to the education system, proposing to school board chair members and superintendents that we introduce more media & communications-based courses into the curriculum.
About Us
Passion Makes Perfect
As students in our 4th year of our PR degree, it has come to our attention that there is large majority of youth in our community who may have no idea what Public Relations is, or the massive value it holds as an industry, and for the functional success of a company or organization. We started Project PR with the goal of to increase the number of Humber Public Relations program admissions, increase the overall knowledge and awareness of the public relations industry, and lastly increase Humber’s overall presence as a college through social media followers and other metrics. This page will serve as an archive of our process, and tools we have developed to create and an area for the community to learn more about the campaign and the industry. Read on an enjoy!
